Our goal at Breedlove Family Farms is to produce a quality animal in which will provide satisfaction at the table. We focus on one breed, Scottish Highland. Scottish Highland cattle are the oldest registered breed in the world, and we strive to raise them as traditional as possible. Grass fed beef without any antibiotics or hormones are standards in which we follow. We have been a member of the American Highland Cattle Association since 2016 doing our part to preserve the majestic breed. Our cattle herd follows a strict guidance from the North Carolina Beef Quality Assurance Program. Cattle may be purchased per head, per load lot of per pound. Our farm offers a true “Farm to Table” service for beef processing. Depending on availability, individuals may select a ¼, ½ or whole beef for processing. Once purchased our grass-fed beef is taken to a local livestock processing facility for customized cuts. This facility is inspected by the United States Department of Agriculture and offers a variety of specialty cuts and well as vacuum packaging. Usually once beef package is selected, depending on scheduling, “Farm to Table” process takes 6-8 weeks.

Purchasing
There is a 50%, non-refundable deposit for all beef purchases. Once deposit is made, a slaughter date will be arranged as well as a pick-up date. A beef cuts list will be provided once deposit is made. Once hanging weight has been determine by the processing facility, the complete cut list must be provided within 2 days. Breedlove Farms can either incorporate all processing costs or allow the purchaser to pay processing costs. 100% of payment is required at the same time of beef cut list submittal. It is also the full responsibility of the purchaser to pick-up package product form the processing facility at scheduled date. Please contact us for stock availability and scheduling.
